Gemma Stevens claimed her first Lycetts Grantham Cup CCI4-S victory aboard Cooley Park Muze after a mixed day, while Tom Jackson won the BEDE Events CCI4-S with United 36, demonstrating consistent performances across multiple horses. Local rider Lizzie Baugh triumphed in the Rathbones CCI3*-S on Easter Sunday with Priorspark Royal Riff-Raff, narrowly edging out international competitors in a highly competitive field.
The event also highlighted emerging talent, with Junior European Champion Ella Howard winning the arena Saddles CCI2*-S on Marchwood, showcasing confidence and skill on a well-designed course. Riders across all levels praised the excellent ground conditions and the event’s growth, noting its increasing stature and atmosphere reminiscent of historic fixtures like Belton.
