British dressage (BD) has announced venue changes for key Scottish summer events originally scheduled at Rockrose Equestrian, Haddington, due to a change in personnel at Rockrose leading to their withdrawal as host. The Scottish Championships (12-14 June) will now be held at Highfield at Howe, Fife; the Area Festival (17-19 July, with an additional day on 16 July) at Netherton Equestrian, Perthshire; and the summer regionals (8-9 August) at Bogenraith Equestrian, Aberdeenshire. BD emphasized the swift reallocation to trusted venues to minimize disruption for competitors.
Rockrose Equestrian’s James Cunningham expressed gratitude to the dressage team and volunteers for their decade of support and confirmed that dressage events will continue at Rockrose with a revised monthly program of affiliated and non-affiliated shows. BD thanked Rockrose for their past contributions and acknowledged the cooperation of the new venues and members during the transition.
