Breeders’ Cup Charities has launched an online auction running through January 18, featuring exclusive items such as a private tour to visit Hall of Fame mare Zenyatta, halters worn by Breeders’ Cup champions like American Pharoah and Flightline, signed jockey boots, and tickets to premier race meets including Del Mar, Keeneland, and Saratoga. Additional unique offerings include signed prints of champion horses, a signed electric guitar by famous musicians, and sports tickets, all aimed at raising funds to support the Thoroughbred racing community.
In 2025, Breeders’ Cup Charities revitalized its program to generate lasting support for key industry causes, with an expected fundraising total of $675,000. The funds benefit five core pillars: Thoroughbred aftercare, jockey health and wellness, backstretch and industry workers, equine research, and community initiatives. The program supports established organizations such as the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance and the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund, ensuring continued growth and impact within the racing industry.
