Bon Courage, a Bon Coeur/Vivaldi son bred by Dr. Christine Feichtinger, and ridden by Thomas Schulze, dominated the FRH Cup final, replicating his strong performance from the qualifiers. Celebrated as a premium stallion seven years ago, Bon Courage now stands at the Lodbergen dressage Horse Performance Centre and is praised for his dedication and heart in the dressage arena. Following him were Zuperman OLD with Beatrice Hoffrogge in second place, notable for his athleticism and a son in the Verden stallion licensing, and Manolo FRH, the Hanoverian Champion of six-year-old dressage horses, ridden by Borja Carrascosa, who took third.
The event also honored breeders with the inaugural Madeleine Winter-Schulze Prize, awarded to Stephan Kurz for breeding Mount St John Freestyle, the world’s top dressage horse. Additional certificates recognized Vasco Freire for breeding double European champion Zonik Plus and Christian Thelker for breeding Para European champion Escari. The top three horses from the FRH Cup final have qualified for the Nuremberg Burg Cup final in Frankfurt, set for December.
