Bolden, a Southern California sprint sensation, recently had his first reported foal, a bay colt foaled at Rancho San Miguel in California. The colt, bred by the same farm, weighed in at 125 pounds and is the second foal out of Trina, an eight-time winner and $144,010-earner by Peppered Cat.
Rancho San Miguel owner Tom Clark expressed excitement for the future of Bolden, describing the stallion as big, good-looking, and classy. Bolden, a 7-year-old son of Square Eddie, won all four of his career starts on both dirt and turf, showcasing sub-1:08 speed and impressive abilities.
Trainer Phil D’Amato praised Bolden as the most talented horse he has ever trained, highlighting the horse’s success on both surfaces. Bolden stands for a $3,500 fee in 2025, with a live foal guarantee, and is expected to produce more exciting offspring in the future.
