The Bureau of Land Management is hosting a mustang adoption event at the East Idaho State Fair on August 30th at 11:30 a.m. Prior to the event, 4-H youths from Oneida to Teton have been training yearling mustangs since June and will showcase their skills on August 29th at 11 a.m. during the fair.
Ten horses will be available for adoption, with eligibility requiring adopters to be at least 18 years old and have facilities that meet BLM standards. Additional details on the adoption process can be found on the BLM website.
