A Billings woman, Brittany Miller, has recovered most of her stolen horse trailer and the horse riding and training equipment inside after it was taken in early February. A professional bronc rider and bucking horse instructor, Miller had been building her gear collection for 15 years. Through a combination of detective work, luck, and community support, she located the truck involved and retrieved much of her equipment, though two saddles remain missing. Law enforcement is now aware of the truck and the alleged driver, and Miller is hopeful for an arrest and the return of the remaining gear.
Miller expressed gratitude to the ag-ranching, cowboy rodeo, and horse community for their support, highlighting the unity shown during the ordeal. She also emphasized that those responsible for the theft will not evade justice, stating, “It’s just a matter of time.” Her Facebook post about the theft garnered over one million views, underscoring the widespread attention and backing she received throughout the recovery process.
