Bermuda’s CEA Regional Dressage Challenge Adult Team

Bermuda’s equestrian riders excelled in the 2024/25 CEA dressage Challenges, achieving first place in both the adult regional and children’s mini divisions. The results highlighted Bermuda’s strong performance, with the adult team defeating competitors from Barbados, Cayman Islands, and Trinidad and Tobago. Notable individual achievements included Laura Williamson, who scored 72.400% on her horse “Black Tie Affair,” earning her the title of Overall Adult High Scorer.

In the adult division, other top performers included Vee McKey and Claire Turner, who also secured high placements in their respective tests. The Bermuda children’s team finished second overall in the regional challenge, with Lila Readdy achieving a commendable second place in Training Level Test 3.

In the Children’s “Mini” dressage Challenge, Bermuda’s team claimed first place against competitors from several Caribbean nations. Grace Lightowler stood out by securing the top score in Training Level Test 1, while Victoria Smatt also earned a notable third place in Introductory Level Test C. The Bermuda Equestrian Federation congratulated all participants and acknowledged the efforts of organizers and volunteers.
