The 2024 London International Horse Show opened with the FEI dressage World Cup Grand Prix, featuring 14 elite dressage combinations. Becky Moody and Jagerbomb emerged victorious, with Moody expressing gratitude for her horse’s abilities and the opportunity to compete at such a prestigious event.
Dutch rider Dinja van Liere initially set the standard in the competition, but Nanna Skodborg Merrald, a Danish Olympic silver medalist, took the lead shortly after. British rider Lewis Carrier also impressed with a personal best score, placing him in the top three at the halfway stage.
Norwegian rider Isabel Freese briefly held the lead with a score of 76.000%, but it was Becky Moody and Jagerbomb who ultimately claimed victory with a score of 76.696%. Moody expressed nerves and pressure leading up to the competition, but was thrilled to come out on top.
