Becky Moody and Jagerbomb Secure Double Third at Amsterdam World Cup Qualifier

Becky Moody and her horse Jagerbomb delivered strong performances at the World Cup qualifier in Amsterdam, finishing third in both the grand prix with a score of 77.24% and the freestyle with 85.31%. Their consistent top-three finishes, including second places in London and Lyon, have moved them up to third in the Western European league standings. Moody praised Jagerbomb’s talent and heart, highlighting their harmonious partnership, which was further recognized when they won the €10,000 Anrecht-Investment harmony and fairness award, voted for by the audience based on ease and harmony beyond technical execution.

Looking ahead, Moody plans to focus on keeping Jagerbomb fresh for the World Championships in Aachen this summer rather than competing in more qualifiers, as only the top nine riders qualify for the World Cup final in Fort Worth, Texas. With three qualifiers remaining and a current tally of 54 points, Moody faces a tight race to secure a final spot, as last season’s points threshold for qualification was very competitive. The harmony award initiative, now in its third year, aims to better recognize the rider-horse connection beyond traditional scoring metrics.
