Baylor equestrian senior Lauren Jorgensen has been named Big 12 Flat Rider of the Month for March after an undefeated 3-0 performance. The Albuquerque native averaged a high score of 80.44 and earned one Most Outstanding Performer honor, notably helping Baylor secure key victories against top-ranked opponents Fresno State and Oklahoma State. Her strong performances contributed to the Jumping Seat squad’s overall success, including a 6-4 win over Fresno State and a 4-1 victory over Oklahoma State.

This marks Jorgensen’s third career monthly honor and her second consecutive Big 12 Flat Rider of the Month award. She finished the season with a 6-3 record in the Flat event and holds a career record of 14-13 with five MOP nods. Her consistent excellence has been instrumental in Baylor’s equestrian achievements this season.
