The Barbados Equestrian Association (BEA) held its annual prize-giving ceremony at Holder’s Polo Club to honor riders, horses, and supporters for their achievements. The Barbados Olympic Association received the Outstanding Contribution to the BEA award, while Josiah Straughn earned the Roberts Manufacturing Award for Outstanding Sportsmanship. Junior and adult show jumping championships saw multiple winners, including Jasper Wood, Jonathan Filardo, Erin Skinner, and Heather Walker, who also garnered several prestigious trophies. Notably, Naiya Hinds and her mare Lipstick received numerous accolades for excellence in jumping and eventing, highlighting their outstanding performance.
In dressage, children and adults alike were recognized for their skills, with champions such as Rayne Adler, Bianca Hutchinson, and Nia Juman excelling in various levels and tests. Special awards went to riders like Taylor Foster for Most Improved Junior Rider and Roberta Foster, who dominated the 2025 Special dressage Awards with multiple honors for her mare Chichic. The event celebrated a broad spectrum of equestrian talent across disciplines, emphasizing both competitive success and contributions to the sport in Barbados.
