Avoyelles Parish 4-H will host a Stick Horse rodeo on Friday, Jan. 16, at 5:30 p.m. at the Avoyelles Parish Barn near Marksville Elementary School. The event is open to youth ages 5 to 18 and offers a fun, hands-on introduction to rodeo-style activities such as barrel racing, pole bending, cow milking, cow tagging, and pig walking, all adapted for stick horses.
