Avon High School senior Kennedy Rospert has committed to ride for the University of California, Davis equestrian team on a Division I scholarship, marking the culmination of five years of dedication to quarter horse competitions. Introduced to riding through her younger sister, Rospert transitioned from Taekwondo to equestrian sports, quickly developing a deep passion for riding. She emphasizes the intense commitment required in equestrian sports, noting that success comes from constant training and hard work, unlike more traditional team sports.

Rospert is excited to join UC Davis’s team environment, eager to learn from her new teammates and continue growing as a rider. Although she has not yet chosen a college major, she is certain that horses will remain a central part of her life.
