Junior Averey Pritchard from the University of Tennessee at Martin (UT Martin) earned Most Outstanding Performer (MOP) honors in fences during the Skyhawks’ fall equestrian season, marking the third different UT Martin rider to receive this accolade in 2025-26. Despite a 12-6 loss to Delaware State, Pritchard scored a season-high 85 points, securing her fourth victory and first MOP recognition of the season. Teammates Kate Mills and Kathleen DeGenova also contributed strong performances in fences, while the team posted wins and ties across reining, flat, and horsemanship events.
Other notable performances included Payton Bundy and Claire Carpenter each earning their third reining wins of the season, with Mills and DeGenova excelling in flat events. Olivia Wynn and Ava Jo Glenn led the horsemanship efforts, with Glenn making a strong debut. The Skyhawks will now prepare for their spring season, opening with home matches against top-ranked Georgia and Auburn in late January at the Ned McWherter Agricultural Complex.
