Australian Chloe Karsten Wins Double Gold at Virtus World Equestrian Dressage Championships

Seventeen-year-old Australian Chloe Karsten achieved remarkable success at the Virtus World Equestrian dressage Championships, winning double gold in the II2 division. Riding Jack, she secured first place in both the II2 Grade III Novice A (team) and II2 Grade III Intermediate B (individual) tests with scores of 67.81% and 68.01%, respectively.

Karsten, from Umina Beach, NSW, was part of the Australian team that earned a silver medal with a combined top three team score of 208.56%. The team, which included Catherine Viney, Bel Dabic, and Luke Purtill, performed impressively despite all riders competing on borrowed horses they had only met days before the competition. The gold medal was claimed by the British team, while Germany took bronze.
