Anush Agarwalla made a strong international debut in Belgium, competing against a skilled field with his horses Floriana and Flynn. On February 28, riding Floriana, he scored an impressive 68.85%, finishing 4th overall, and improved further on March 1 with Flynn, achieving a score of 70.3%. These performances demonstrated his consistency, composure, and the strong partnership with his horses, marking important progress toward qualifying for the 2026 Asian Games.
The Belgium dressage Events are key to Anush’s qualification campaign, with two more chances remaining before the continental competition. Fellow Indian rider Shruti Vora also competed, scoring 65.44% on February 28. Both riders aim to help India defend its gold medals from the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games, underscoring the significance of their performances as they build toward the upcoming Asian Games in Japan.
