Zidhane, Anne van Olst’s Grand Prix horse, has passed away at the age of 20. The Dutch warmblood gelding had an international career under Anne van Olst, making his debut in 2013 and achieving his first international win in 2015.
Zidhane and Anne van Olst had a successful partnership, with highlights including competing in various international competitions and being long-listed for the Danish Olympic team in 2016. They retired from international competition after the CDI Roosendaal in 2016.
Nicknamed “Salty,” Zidhane spent the rest of his life with Anne van Olst before passing away due to severe colic in December 2024. Anne expressed her sadness at his sudden passing, remembering him fondly as a beloved horse in her stable.
