An animal shelter in Leverett, Massachusetts is preparing to take in 13 dogs affected by hurricanes in Florida. The dogs, ranging from 3 months to 7 years old, are expected to arrive at Better Together Dog Rescue on Monday. The shelter is seeking foster families and donations of supplies such as washable beds, kongs, and puppy pads.
Those interested in becoming a foster for the dogs can visit bettertogetherdogrescue.org to fill out an application. Donations of supplies can be dropped off at the shelter or sent through their Amazon wish list. Better Together Dog Rescue is located at 163 Montague Road in Leverett and is working to provide care and support for the dogs impacted by the hurricanes in Florida.
