An animal cruelty investigation in Harris County, Texas, led to the rescue of three malnourished dogs and the discovery of a fourth deceased dog. The dogs were found in harsh conditions, with two illegally chained by their necks on a lot and another confined in an open horse trailer. The dead dog showed signs of extreme malnourishment and was also tethered by a chain.

The rescued dogs are now in the care of the Houston SPCA as authorities continue their investigation. Harris County Precinct 1 Constable Alan Rosen stated that the inquiry will determine whether criminal charges should be filed in connection with the case.
