Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, the former Duke of York, has been spotted gazing longingly at horses on the Sandringham Estate after reportedly being banned from horseback riding last month due to concerns over his association with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Since February, Andrew has been staying at Wood Farm, the late Prince Philip’s former home, while renovations are underway at his new residence, Marsh Farm. This move follows his eviction from the Royal Lodge by King Charles, who also withdrew his annual allowance and private security funding, leaving Andrew responsible for the upkeep and security costs of the property.
Renovations at Marsh Farm include installing a six-foot wooden fence, CCTV cameras, and new security lighting, with crews working intensively on interior finishing touches. Despite removal vans delivering Andrew’s belongings, he has yet to move into Marsh Farm, which is notably smaller than Royal Lodge and lacks space for continuous security staff. The changes reflect Andrew’s reduced royal status and the increased scrutiny surrounding his past, prompting a more discreet and self-funded lifestyle.
