The Amateur Riders’ Club (ARC) hosted the South Zone qualifier for the FEI dressage World Challenge – India Team Selection at its premier dressage arena in Mumbai, bringing together top riders from Maharashtra, Karnataka, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and Puducherry. Competitors across multiple FEI categories, including Senior I, Senior II, Prix St. Georges, and Youth divisions, demonstrated exceptional skill and artistry under the scrutiny of experienced FEI judges, Col. Sudhir Singh Ahlawat and Ms. Natalia Rubasko. The event aimed to select the best rider from the South Zone to represent India internationally under FEI regulations.
Notable results included Athira Prabhu topping Senior I dressage with 69.968%, Isabelle Hasleder leading Senior II with 63.409%, Samanna Everaa winning Prix St. Georges with 62.794%, and Inaara Luthria excelling in Youth dressage with 69.875%. Milan Luthria, ARC’s Equitation Chairman, emphasized the club’s commitment to nurturing Indian equestrian talent through world-class facilities and expert guidance, reinforcing ARC’s mission to elevate the sport nationally and prepare riders for global competition.
