The Amateur Riders’ Club (ARC) in Mumbai successfully hosted the South Zone qualifier for the FEI dressage World Challenge – India Team selection at their premier dressage arena within Mahalaxmi Racecourse. This event featured top riders from Mumbai and southern states competing across multiple FEI categories, including Senior I, Senior II, Prix St. Georges, and Youth divisions. Judged by experienced FEI officials, the competition showcased precision and artistry, with riders aiming to secure spots on the national team that will represent India internationally under FEI standards.
Notable results included Athira Prabhu leading Senior I dressage with a score of 69.495%, Aadya Rao topping Senior II with 65.610%, Samanna Everaa winning Prix St. Georges at 66.471%, and Miraya R Dadabhoy excelling in Youth dressage with 71.725%. The ARC emphasized their world-class arena and commitment to nurturing riders capable of competing at prestigious events like the Asian Games. Following the South Zone event, the North Zone qualifier will determine the final team members for international representation.
