The race, scheduled for November 1, will support 20 charities, including Door of Hope and Thembisa Welfare, highlighting the community’s spirit of compassion. The draw assigned horses and starting positions to each charity, with proceeds guaranteeing a minimum of R40,000 per charity regardless of race outcome.
