Alice Cole Williams Obituary: A Life of Love, Adventure, and Dedication

Alice Cole Williams, born in 1949 in New York, was a lifelong athlete and devoted mother who passed away peacefully at her home in Penngrove, California, at age 74. Growing up in Harrison, New York, she excelled in horseback riding and swimming, competing nationally. She attended Smith College, studied yoga and meditation abroad, and later ran Sunnyside Farm bakery in Vermont with her family. After moving to Florida, she earned a Master’s in Special Education and taught emotionally disturbed students for over two decades, while enjoying an active life with her husband Sammy.

In retirement, Alice and Sammy fulfilled their dream of country living in California, surrounded by horses and nature. She cherished her grandchildren and maintained a warm, welcoming home. Alice is survived by her husband, daughters, grandchildren, sisters, and extended family, along with her beloved animals. Her life was marked by athleticism, education, family devotion, and a love of adventure and community.
