ALDI Ireland has awarded seven Tipperary-based charities and community groups €500 each in gift cards through its Community Grants programme, recognizing their important local contributions. The recipients include The Haven Rescue, C-SAW Community Suicide Awareness Workers, Scoil Chormaic, Carrick-On-Suir Men’s Shed, Community Connect Kilkenny Hub, Down Syndrome Tipperary, and Tipperary Community Services Centre. These grants, nominated by ALDI employees, support a wide range of services such as mental health, disability support, and community engagement, reflecting ALDI’s commitment to strengthening local communities.

Since its inception in 2016, ALDI’s Community Grants programme has donated €844,500 to over 1,000 local charities and groups across Ireland. ALDI also actively supports the community through partnerships like FoodCloud, donating over 200,000 meals and reducing carbon emissions. The company’s ongoing local engagement includes collaborations with Tipperary food producers, demonstrating a sustained investment in both social and environmental initiatives within the region.
