Horse Illustrated, in partnership with the ASPCA’s Right Horse program, features Angel, a 26-year-old gray Appaloosa-cross mare currently available for adoption through the Kentucky Equine Adoption Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Angel came to the center via an animal control case after her previous owner could no longer care for her. Now in her golden years, Angel is seeking a calm, non-riding home where she can enjoy a peaceful retirement. She has a strong personality, enjoys the company of other horses, and benefits from consistent care and a gentle environment. Her adoption fee is $500.
