The 2028 Los Angeles Olympic equestrian events will take place at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, the same venue used for the 1984 Olympic equestrian competitions. The schedule, confirmed by the International Equestrian Federation (FEI), spans 16 days from July 14 to July 29, featuring 200 horses. Eventing begins the competition with horse inspections on July 14 and events running through July 18, followed by dressage from July 18 to July 24, and concluding with jumping events from July 25 to July 29. The schedule includes key events such as the dressage Grand Prix, team and individual finals, and jumping qualifiers and finals.
FEI President Ingmar De Vos expressed satisfaction with the preparations and the IOC’s decision to maintain the same medal events and quotas as Paris 2024. The equestrian competition is expected to be outstanding in this historic venue, which has seen growing international participation—from 30 nations in 1984 to nearly 50 in recent Olympics. The Paralympic equestrian schedule will be announced later.
