The United States Eventing Association’s Eventing Coaches Program (ECP) will hold its 2026 Symposium from January 13–15 at Malvern House Farm in Citra, Florida. Open to ECP-certified coaches and anyone interested in eventing coaching—including riders, parents, and supporters—the three-day event focuses on enhancing coaches’ abilities to assess horse-and-rider pairs by recognizing their unique progression steps. Through interactive working groups, participants will analyze live demonstrations, discuss challenges, and determine logical training progressions, fostering collaboration among coaches of all experience levels and offering riders valuable coaching perspectives.
The Symposium also features special guest speakers such as sports psychologists, Olympic judges, and top trainers, with presentations available both in-person and virtually. Registration fees vary from $60 to $100 per day depending on status, with full-event discounts and optional boxed lunches. The ECP, established in 2002, aims to educate coaches at all levels to promote safe, effective training in eventing, supported by sponsors like Marshall+Sterling and the United States Pony Clubs. More information and registration are available on the USEA website.
