The annual Runnin’ WJ Barrel Races, held at the Four States Fairgrounds in Texarkana, is one of the largest and most prestigious equine events in the country. Beyond the thrilling competition, the Runnin’ WJ Barrel Race supports Texarkana’s Runnin’ WJ Ranch equine therapy programs, which provide therapeutic horseback riding for individuals with disabilities. Since its start in 2008, the event has grown into a nationally respected tradition that combines horsemanship with philanthropy.
