The 2025 Candace Norman Youth and Adult Service Awards were presented at the NC State 4-H Horse Show to honor individuals exemplifying dedication to 4-H values and community leadership. The youth award went to Blake Garber of Union County, recognized for his extensive volunteer work including animal shelter drives, hurricane relief, and mentoring younger 4-H members, demonstrating consistent and heartfelt service.

The adult award was given to Beth Morgan of Wake County, a longtime 4-H volunteer and coach known as the “Queen of Hippology” for her success leading teams to state, regional, and national victories. Despite relocating to Virginia, Beth remains actively involved, dedicating countless hours to youth development with a patient and encouraging approach that fosters growth and excellence.
