The 19th annual Lehman Engineers Horse Trail Ride and Trail Walk will take place on Sunday, September 28, at Canoe Creek State Park to benefit Dreams Go On, a nonprofit providing therapeutic horseback riding for children and young adults in Blair County. The event invites horseback riders and trail walkers to participate, with registration costing $15 and including a free T-shirt and barbecue lunch. Participants can choose between a two-hour horse trail ride or one of two walking trails, and are encouraged to collect pledges to qualify for fundraising prizes. The event also features a silent auction, raffles, and a kids’ craft area.
Dreams Go On’s 2025 Goodwill Ambassadors, Colten Heidler and Jeffrey Millard, will help open the event alongside emcee Morgan Koziar. The event is supported by Lehman Engineers and volunteers, with proceeds sustaining the therapeutic riding programs. Walk-in registrations are accepted on the day of the event, which will proceed rain or shine. Volunteers are also sought for the Dreams Go On facility, with contact information provided for those interested in supporting the organization.
