A 15-year-old girl from Little Falls was injured in a horse-riding accident north of Bowlus on Sunday afternoon. While performing a maneuver on a horse in Two Rivers Township, she was bucked off and subsequently airlifted to Hennepin County Medical Center with unknown injuries.
The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office responded to the incident around 3:28 p.m., with assistance from the Bowlus First Response Team, North Memorial Air Care, and Mayo Clinic Ambulance. The girl’s identity has not been disclosed.
