The 129th Fort Worth Stock Show & rodeo kicks off on January 17 with the All-Western Parade, a historic and iconic event featuring over 3,000 horses, nearly 150 entries including riding clubs, marching bands, and more than 30 wagons and floats. The parade, the oldest non-motorized rodeo parade in the U.S., draws nearly 4,000 participants and over 100,000 spectators along a two-mile downtown route. Tickets for the parade also grant general admission to the Stock Show grounds during the 23-day event, which runs through February 7.
Following the parade, the Fort Worth Stock Show & rodeo welcomes more than 13,000 youth competitors vying for over $10 million in scholarships and auction proceeds. The event attracts over 1.2 million visitors annually and features livestock shows, equestrian competitions, live music, a carnival midway, shopping, family attractions, and nightly rodeos at Dickies arena. It celebrates Western heritage and offers a wide range of activities that highlight the culture and community spirit of Fort Worth. More information and tickets are available at FWSSR.com.
